Recommended mattress with the best weight to insulation ratio. Durability ( because of the underside fabric which is 70d ) is also unrivaled in the market for the weight. The 7.6cm of the NXT version improves the already good comfort of the previous 6.4cm version. Have been using it all year round in altitudes up to 2700m and down to -4C degrees, the mattress insulates superbly - as it should, even on snow. The RW NXT Xtherm I received weighs 535g (mattress only) and 623g together with pump sack, storage sack and repair kit. Have been using all the Xtherm generations, and in more than 150 uses have never had a puncture ( I always sleep in a tent ). Downside of the NXT version is the light grey colour. Even a spot of dirt will show from away. Secondly there has been no improvement on the pump sack, it should be seam sealed. After 10 or more uses, the pump sack starts to loose air from the seams, requiring more pumps to fill up the mattress. The winglock valve works very well.
