except for hard enduro and downhill, these protectors are very good, flexible, open at the back and with many holes and thus suitable for cross country, and some enduro rides, especially in spring and summer. They stay 100% in place. I have M/L legs but I bought the S/M size and fit very well. I have experience with other 2 knee guards ok for enduro but are not so comfy and fresh. I strongly recommend these guards.
