As usual Edelrid has a new way of doing things.
The bag closes with a velcro ring on the top, you have to detach the velcro ring and twist it 180 to 360 deg to fully close the bag.
The big advantage is that the bag is completely closed, no chalk can fall out.
The drawback is that the closure sistem is finicky. You can adjust it on the fly, and you need two hands to operate.

I have been looking for a bag for a long time that is big enough for me and that I like the look of. And this one is perfect! Great workmanship, good fleece inside, the closure takes some getting used to at first but is very well thought out and absolutely tight (no extra bag in the backpack needed), the pocket for valuables is very spacious with a clip for keys, but there is no room for a smartphone (but that doesn't bother me). As for the color: in most pictures the bag is shown as gray-orange, here it is more blue-orange. The real color is somewhere in between but more grayish.
I am completely satisfied and can highly recommend it:)
