My absolute favourite jacket at the moment, very light, super warm even when you're only wearing functional underwear underneath at -10 degrees. I was able to try this out in a field test. The stretch inserts on the sides make it optimal for movement, and the fact that the jacket reaches over the bottom and the elasticated sleeves are sewn on the inside are practical. The jacket also kept me completely dry in the rain; I tested it in extreme rain with a hardshell over it. I never got cold and nothing got wet. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the length of the hood is not adjustable, so it always reaches over the face. The width is adjustable. I would also have found thumb loops practical, but that's complaining at a high level.....I would recommend buying it with a clear conscience.....160/68kg Size 42 fits me perfectly with a little wiggle room.
