After two branded trekking poles that wore out over the last 15 years (due to intensive use), I now have my first Black Diamond. Impressed by the good reviews, I decided to go for the product despite its slightly higher weight (I almost became a weight fetishist).
I have just returned from a week-long mountain tour and can sum up my experience with the poles in one word: enthusiasm.

Positives:
The high-quality workmanship is already evident in the feel.
-The handles are not too soft and not too hard and fit perfectly in the hands.
-The straps are luxuriously padded and provide a firm hold. Sweat-related unpleasantness is not an issue.
-The highlight is the fasteners. I have never been able to adjust the length of the poles with such ease and precision. The pressure points are clearly defined, there is no wobbling and certainly no adjustment of the clamping effect. This real functional advance is worth every extra gram. Kudos to the developers.
- the rod units are moved quickly and precisely, just like in a high-quality plain bearing.

Negatives:
- after a day tour, slight discoloration of the black grip pads

The clip system for adjusting the length is perfect. Up until now I've only had poles that you had to twist. A few cheap poles broke after a short time. The price at Sport Okay was also extremely reasonable.

Everything was perfect with the purchase process, product, price-performance ratio and delivery; I can't rate the product itself yet as the trekking poles won't be used until later; I would buy from SportOkay again at any time if the need arose;
