excellent product, the red light is missing for relaxing reading

Läuft mit normalen AA Batterien oder Akkus, hält lange, angenehm zu Tragen, einfaches Umstellen von Streulicht auf Spot mit Klappe und drei Helligkeitsstufen. Nicht das neues Modell aber immer noch sehr gut.

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die fummelige Befestigung des zentralen (medianen) Kopfbandes. Sonst leicht und super hell sowie differenziert einstellbar (Leuchtstärke).

I bought this headlamp and the LedLenser H14.2 (both are battery and rechargeable models).
Here is my review in detail:

Advantages of Petzl:
+Weight
+Good wearing comfort
+Light duration
+More lumens on paper

Disadvantages of the Petzl:
-On/off switch difficult to operate (even without gloves)
-Point and scattered light functions are very inferior in terms of the light cone (here the LedLenser offers stepless, clean focusing and a better light cone)
-Not dimmable
-No (red) position light to the rear
-Appears much darker than the LedLenser (despite more lumens)
-Not intended for use or attachment to a belt
-Unfortunately only available in orange (black has been discontinued)

Both have no SOS function!
For me, this represents a serious deficiency in lamps in this category.

I have not received any benefits from either manufacturer.
This review is purely my subjective opinion.
