Robust running pole for this weight

I used to have a pair of ultra light carbon running poles (from another brand) before the Distance Z poles. Compared to that one the aluminum Distance Z is noticeably heavier but also much stronger. I can trust the Distance Z on a slippery descend (where recently my carbon poles got injured when my foot slipped and I gave too much load to the carbon pole).
For me the additional weight (compared to the lighter carbon poles) is only annoying in case of I carry the poles horizontally holding the handle for a few steps.
I used Distance Z poles only a few times yet. The joins of the poles are a bit too tight yet, hopefully it will get better after more usage. I find both the foam handle and the strap comfortable.
Another important aspect for me that the Distance Z poles can fit perfectly into the popular quiver-like pole holder which can be installed to runnig vests of another brand.
All in all I am satisfied with the Distance Z poles. I got what I expected.
