Habe die Leash am Wochenende in der Taschachschlucht im Toprope-Klettern eingesetzt. Ohne Leash wären die mir mehrfach runtergefallen. In der Schlucht waren teilweise 50-100 Kletterer gleichzeitig und die Gefahr, dass ein herabfallendes Eisgerät jemanden trifft ist dadurch minimiert. Beim Vorstiegsklettern ist es aber sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es macht die Sache eher gefährlicher, weil z.B. beim überstreckten Einhängen in eine bereits platzierte Expressschlinge evtl. die Leash unter dem Seil bleibt. Also in jedem Fall vor Mehrseillängenrouten den Umgang damit üben. Einige erfahrene Kletterer sind sogar der Meinung, dass durch den Einsatz einer Leash die Verletzungsgefahr für den Kletterer größer wird. Kann sein, dass das so ist. Jedoch wird die Verletzungsgefahr für die Leute die unten stehen deutlich minimiert! ;-)
