Size 46 is my size. Quality of the shoes seems very good.
Since I froze both my feet during a winter ascent of the Jubiläumsgrat in the winter of 1969/1970, I am particularly sensitive when it comes to shoes. But the Scarpa are excellent.

After several years, it was actually time to replace my old Zen. A perfect shoe, first-class workmanship, I don't know of any shoe that lasts longer! Fits perfectly, relatively light. For me, there is no better approach shoe!

- very good workmanship, especially on the heel
- the first shoe that is not torn on the inside of the heel
- the sole (Vibram) is stable and well cushioned
- at the beginning the shoe seems quite stiff, but
- super comfortable after a certain break-in period (leather upper material)
- due to the intelligent lacing, the shoe is suitable for normal to wider feet
- good grip even on wet surfaces (leaves etc.)
- fortunately no waterproof membrane, thus pleasant foot climate
- the toe cap prevents your feet from getting wet even on wet meadows (very intelligent solution)
