I already wear a Keen Targhee in the mid version and was looking for a hiking shoe. After the first 30 kilometers on forest paths and gravel, I am more than satisfied. As with Keen, no major breaking in required, I went on a 12 km tour straight away. Only the pink flex insert looks a bit strange. The successor model also seems to have a more subtle color. It doesn't bother me, I'm looking forward to the next hike and am happy about the low price.

The most comfortable outdoor shoes I've ever had! You don't even notice the shoe on your foot, but you still get great support and grip on different surfaces. The flex insert means you walk like you're wearing comfortable sneakers. The size is as it should be. I ordered them a size larger than I wear for non-outdoor shoes and still have room for thick socks. So far they've stayed dry even in heavy rain and when walking through wet grass! Great shoe!

I tried on Keen shoes for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The shoes fit perfectly right away. No pressure points or blisters when breaking them in. The workmanship seems to be very good. Long-term experience will tell.
I can only recommend the Keen brand.
