Excellent ultralight hardshell. The workmanship is top-notch as expected: few sealed seams, sealed zipper with a lip behind it, extremely thin but high-quality and non-crackling material that compresses well.
The hood has a light cap shape, an elastic band for self-adjustment and is completely waterproof at the sides. There is also a Merino forehead protector so that the protruding cap shape does not become a disadvantage. However, that is almost the only place where Merino has been used - around 15cm². Apart from that, there is a thin strip at the top of the zipper. Whether that justifies the proud "Merino inside" lettering is questionable.

I have to point out 2 disadvantages: firstly, there is no thumb hole, which is quite annoying and is only partially compensated for by the very long sleeves, into which you can easily pull your hand back, and secondly, the face protection is much too wide and cannot be made smaller. The zip and the end of the jacket reach under the nose, but there is enough space for a gas mask between the head and the jacket, which of course lets in a lot of water. Bad, an elastic band would have been extremely important, an unforgivable design flaw. Therefore only 4 stars.

Other: The jacket is large, while the L fits me (183cm) exactly in the Rock'n'Wool Hoody (which matches it 100% perfectly in terms of color and style), a down jacket easily fits under the rain jacket. This makes it easy to combine, of course, but it doesn't fit as tightly. If you only want to use it in warmer weather, you should order a size smaller.
The color in the photo is wrong, the zipper is highlighter orange.
The price is quite high, the jacket is made in Vietnam. Recommended premium product for gram hunters...

Casual piece - was able/had to use the jacket already. Wind and rain are no problem, very comfortable to wear on the skin. Only the zipper seems a bit delicate in terms of its design.
